J+J's Maternity Session...

A few weeks ago, I was honored when some long time friends asked me to photograph their maternity session! We met Jynafer + Jonathan years ago at RockHarbor Fullerton's first life group launch back in 2009/2010 (uhh, I can't remember the exact year. Mom brain, okay?). They sat at our table- it was the Tuesday night table, whoop whoop! We shared our Tuesday nights in prayer, talking about God, laughing, eating and all the other fun stuff that goes on in a life group and just lived life together! A few years later, they asked Mitch to marry them, which was SUCH an honor as their life group leader! I can still remember the excitement in Mitch's voice when he told me they asked him! So isn't it poetic that they would ask me to photograph and document this next amazing chapter in their story? Gah, I was so honored. Thank you Jynafer and Jonathan for involving Mitch and I in your lives, we are so happy for you both and this new adventure you're about to embark on! ALSO, I loved the props and clothing choices for this session! If you don't know this amazing couple, let me fill you in: Jynafer works for an ad agency (SO cool, right?!) and Jonathan is an author! He's legit! Like, on GOODREADS legit, you guys! So the typewriter, the books, the blanket, the pennants (Jynafer even MADE one of them!) everything was perfect! Well done J+J, well done!

Ps- Jyn, you're seriously such a gorgeous pregnant woman, your grace and beautiful glow BLEW me away during your session! I had to say it! xo, Ana.

Elizabeth's Grad Session...

Meet Liz. She's one of those people that you meet and never forget. She has a smile that is contagious and she has a heart of pure gold! This girl is an encourager, a bright beam of sunshine, and a HOOT!

Liz is graduating in a few weeks from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City with a degree in Communication Arts and a minor in Business. She's recently decided to stay in NYC and will be working as an Executive of Marketing for a company, and a Children's Minister at her church! So when she asked if I'd take graduate photos of her in L.A, I was so excited! Liz wanted her session to exemplify her passions in a location that would best represent her heart, where better than the city?! So we headed out to the Arts District and talked about things past, present, and what's to come...

Liz, I am beyond happy for you and this next season! NYC, you're getting a real gem of a person...and don't you forget it! Go get 'em tiger! Go get 'em...
